We had used several travel companies over the years to organise our holidays but fortunately we found the best in Susan Pentelow in 2015 when planning a trip to New Zealand.
After providing details of what we were looking for and a budget, I was extremely impressed with her speedy responses, knowledge and professionalism. The holiday was priced competitively and after booking, Susan was always available, answered any queries promptly and the whole experience from beginning to end was a resounding success.
Since that initial booking Susan has excelled with several wonderful trips that have included Peru, Ecuador, Lisbon, Madeira, Japan and meticulously organising an entire self-drive adventure across New England. She knew all the hotels from previous personal experience, planned our trip day by day and sorted all logistics, including the car hire and insurance. She even booked our seats on the plane.
You judge a good travel agent when things go wrong and when our prearranged transport for a return flight did not turn up on one holiday, we quickly had to make our own arrangements in order to get to the airport on time. On return, Susan rang to see how our trip had been, as she always does, and I explained about the transport problem we had experienced. She quickly sorted it out and we were duly compensated.
Most recently our scheduled US trip was cancelled due to the pandemic and Susan in her usual charming and efficient manner had everything swiftly resolved, including a full refund within 10 days.
Susan provides a first-class service with an outstanding level of communication and is always prepared to go the extra mile. Certainly, the best travel agent I have ever used, and I have been happy to recommend her to friends who also now use her services regularly.
