Client Blog: Stuart’s family holiday to Fuerteventura

I have been in touch with Stuart since he first contacted me for help with a family holiday a few years ago. He wanted their latest trip to be as perfect as possible, with some very specific criteria.

After extensive research together we found what I hoped would be a great solution for them...

We were looking for a relaxing short family break in the sunshine with our ten-year-old, somewhere not too far to travel to, that could provide an all-inclusive package with good food available.

Susan listened intently as always, guiding us through options and reviews that might tick our boxes which included guaranteed sun with pool and sea access.

The H10 Tindaya in Fuerteventura appeared an attractive proposition, particularly with the Canaries being a new destination for us, and importantly it had also received Susan’s endorsement with other clients.

She was spot on. The hotel was immaculate with a chilled relaxed atmosphere, beautifully kept with lush gardens, extremely friendly staff, and Susan even got us a lovely room upgrade with a wonderful view from the balcony.

It is located on Costa Calma in the southern part of the island with direct access to the white sand beach of Sotavento.

The food was exquisite with a full range of dining options, including an outstanding self-service buffet and getting a cool beer at any time on the all-inclusive package was lovely. It had been important to us not to have to wander around to find places to eat - another tick.

The pool is nice, always surrounded by sun worshippers though a few more shaded areas would be a nice addition for families like us.

We did get out and about for an exploration. The little beach nearby was appealing even if the sea was a little cold.

Fuerteventura is very much a desert, so the surrounding area is generally barren. We walked in every direction, the route along the seafront to the small town nearby was especially nice.

I am sure there are more excursions to explore a little further afield as there isn’t a huge amount to do nearby but our main purpose for this trip was a relaxing holiday and we certainly managed that.

We loved it and would happily come back though would want to do more on a future visit.

Susan was fantastic, tireless in her attention to detail. We aren't easy to please and she did so in spades. We've booked an exciting Baltic cruise with her since and have been delighted to recommend her to others.
