My husband and I have booked with Susan of Holidaysplease for several years because we are looked after so well.
Susan offers a personal service which endeavours to fulfil all the holiday requirements of her clients - and she does it brilliantly.
Our latest trip was an Alaskan cruise with additional days touring Canada. Susan organised everything - all we had to do was enjoy the holiday.
Our adventure began in Vancouver, staying at the fabulous Sutton Place Hotel, located conveniently close to the cruise terminal, shops, restaurants and bars.
We returned to the same hotel after our thoroughly enjoyable cruise before embarking on the second part of our holiday, travelling through the Rockies by train.
Susan had advised that there is a fantastic alternative to the famous Rocky Mountaineer tourist train, the transcontinental passenger train, The Canadian, operated by the national network VIA Rail.
She was, as always, spot on. This service offers an overnight journey with comfortable reclining seats and blankets, along with the availability of hot meals, drinks and snacks.
We were still able to enjoy the splendour of the scenery with access to the observation deck plus it suited us enormously to have the flexibility to leave the train in Banff to continue our holiday.
